Last time there was a major strike on the London Underground, we really didn’t find the idea of rush hour that appealing. Several offers were circulating around the internet, but one stood out for us. 50% off food at Picture, Great Portland Street.

A stunning meal recently at @picture_restaurant including espresso martinis🍸; grilled tenderstem broccoli, peppers and chickpeas; gorgeous ricotta-filled ravioli of Italian greens; and hake brandade with roast and Provençal vegetables. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 🍴Such value and incredible flavour – never go hungry around Oxford Circus again! This neighbourhood restaurant is a two minute walk from the shopping superhighway (and it helps that there's Irish talent at the helm here too, of course!) #picture #gastrogays
So if you are full of dread about this evening, why not drop by one of these places instead, to avoid the rush! We’ve got a selection of restaurants, bars, cafes, stalls and even a hotel!
